Immaculata's women's cross country team placed third at the CSAC Preview Meet on Saturday at McDade Park behind four runners all in the Top 20. The Mighty Macs collected 70 points to finish behind Marywood (45) in first and Centenary (62) in second.
The Immaculata women's cross country started the 2015 campaign Tuesday night at the Light Up the Night Invitational coming in fifth out of seven teams.
The Immaculata University women's cross country team was selected third by the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) head coaches in the league's preseason poll. The Mighty Macs earned 97 points in the balloting.

Immaculata University released the 2015 men's and women's cross country schedule on Wednesday. The Mighty Macs will race in six meets during the regular season before taking part in the CSAC Championship and NCAA Mideast Regional.
The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced this afternoon it's All-Academic Teams for the 2014 season and both the Immaculata men's and women's cross country teams earned the distinction.
