Newport News, VA – Jon Mayes (Dublin, PA/Pennridge) won the hammer throw competition on Friday evening    at the Mason-Dixon Conference Championships hosted by Christopher Newport University to highlight a strong opening day performance by Keystone College's track and field teams.  Justin Clarke (Factoryville, PA/Lackawanna Trail) set a new school record in the 10,000 meter run for the  Giants' men's team, who sits in third place out of nine teams while Keystone's women's team is in seventh place after the first day of action.
