Birmingham, Ala.-  William Carey University men's and women's track & field got their inaugural season underway on Saturday as they competed in the 2013 Southern Invitational hosted by Birmingham Southern College.

La Crosse, WI - KateLynn Strickler (Selinsgrove, PA/Selinsgrove) closed out an outstanding junior season by finishing 20th overall in the javelin throw competition at the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships on Saturday hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The junior became the first female in Keystone College track & field history to compete in the NCAA National Championships.
