West Long Branch, NJ Keystone College opened the 2014 spring track and field season this past weekend at the Monmouth University Spring Opener. The Giants' women's squad, who was led by KateLynn Strickler (Selinsgrove, PA/Selinsgrove)'s strong performance in the javelin and Jada Phillips (Woodbridge, NJ/John F. Kennedy Memorial)' school record toss in the shot put, placed 10th out of 27 teams with 18 points while finishing ahead of 12 Division I teams. Keystone's men's team earned 13 points on the day to place 13th out of 23 teams.
